Prior to the session you will:

• Blind select prompts from the Trashcan Generator – these will give you a setting/ situation, a character, and an object/occurrence.
• Be encouraged to read Trash Cat’s post about writing to prompts here
• Receive your prompts 24hrs before the session so you can start thinking about a story, word splurge, make notes.

During the 90 minute session you will:

• Get to spend dedicated time on your writing alongside other writers and Trash Cat.
• Write a new draft or two using the prompts from the Trashcan Generator.
• Stretch your imagination and creativity, perhaps play with genre or form.
• Have the option to switch it up halfway through, maybe start another draft.
• Have an opportunity to read what you have produced and receive feedback after the writing time ends
