Sandrina Dorigo

When we are lost and far from home, somehow, without courage, without knowing, we find the way we need to go through night, streets and steppe, crossing oceans and earth. We small bodies, as swift do and cod, sun a compass, straight heading in slow wave sleep, can’t begin to know how muscle memory and mercy carry us where we need to go. Somehow. With one eye, we know the darkness better than ourselves, our senses keen, sharp tongues lead the way on a crumb, on a current, rivers and ranges on invisible forces. We can’t begin to know, yet we arrive all the same.
